Councillor David Busby
Bentley Parish Council records with great regret the passing of Cllr. David Busby.
David had represented Bentley on Babergh District Council in our new constituency, with Copdock and Washbrook from 2019 to date.
He was a good friend to the village. He supported and advised the Parish Council in numerous ways and participated in many village functions. He was always cheerful and approachable, and it was a tragedy when his illness overtook him just after he became leader of Babergh District Council.
Latterly his work was supported by his colleagues Helen Davies and John Whyman for which we have been also very grateful.
We would like to express our gratitude and express our deepest sympathies to his family and friends on behalf of Bentley Parish Council.
